The National Diploma in Tourism Management is a two-year program designed to develop skilled professionals for Bhutan’s growing tourism industry. The program integrates practical training with industry-focused knowledge, preparing graduates for supervisory and operational roles in tour operations, travel agencies, and destination management.

Beyond mastering essential tourism management skills, students gain entrepreneurial competencies, equipping them with the expertise to establish and manage their own tourism ventures in the future.

Term I (18 Weeks | 630 Hours)​

  5. Information Technology (IT) & Text Processing

Practical Components:

  1. Carrying out Finance & Accounting I (Maintain inventories and prepare bills)
  2. Supervising Health, Safety, and Security Procedures
  3. On the Job Training (OJT)/Practical Training
Term II (18 Weeks | 630 Hours)

  1. Fundamentals of Tourism II
  2. Sustainable Tourism I
  3. Food & Beverage (F&B) Management II
  4. Restaurant Management II

  6. eTourism (Internet Marketing)

General Modules:
