Bartending

The Barista Skills Development Program, conducted in collaboration with the Department of Workforce Planning and Skill Development (DWPSD), provides hands-on training in coffee, tea, and other beverage preparations. Participants learn to craft hot and cold coffee, various tea varieties including spiced and iced tea, as well as milkshakes, smoothies, and fresh juices—equipping them with essential barista skills for careers in both the national and international hospitality industry.

Program Details:

  • Duration: 2 months
  • Eligibility: Minimum educational qualification of Class X
  • Stipend: Nu. 3,500 per month, provided for the entire course duration

Registration Requirements:

  1. All applicants must register as a job/training seeker with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MOICE).
  2. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the designated Job/Training Seeker Portal.
